Dewdrop is a fictional subscription box service aimed towards young children, hoping to inspire a love for the ocean through fun and educational activities and toys.   My plans for Dewdrop’s branding was to design a bubbly and friendly identity that appealed to both children and parents, while also including the brand’s core values. I also wanted to design a short advertisement motion video that could charmingly and clearly explain the brand’s service.
The creation process started with a lot of ideation and experimentation. I knew I wanted a simple logo that would combine Dewdrop’s subscription box service and the ocean-themed contents. Additionally, the logotype would be ideally organic and approachable.  For the motion explainer video, I sought crayon textures, fluid transitions, and constant movement. The fun illustrative visuals were paired with peppy copy write.
